FAQ

Do you tailor your services to a particular kind of client?

We specialize in working with people who are going through a life transition. Examples: selling a business, getting married, closing in on retirement, relocating, receiving a windfall inheritance, divorcing, finding yourself between jobs, having a death in the family, negotiating an executive pension package. So many roads open up during these times of transition, but you may not even know they exist. We can help you take the financial road best traveled.

How long has your firm been in business?

Since 2000. Our staff is in one office now, but we plan to triple our financial advising staff and to add offices in order to be the last financial advisor you will ever have. Our personal touch is so important, though, that we would never grow beyond the point where it would compromise the service our clients are accustomed to.

Do you work on commissions or do you charge a fee for your services?

We are a fee-based firm with a fiduciary duty to put your interests first and act as a prudent person would with your finances.

How will I benefit from a meeting with Talone Financial Group?

Our objective for every meeting is to have you leave with more clarity and more confidence along with a game plan: clarity about the things you want to do and how you are going to get there; confidence that you are heading in the right direction; and a game plan for what’s next and the action steps you will take. We believe that clarity leads to action and action leads to results.

May I schedule an initial consultation even if I don't live in Philadelphia?

We can meet with you even if you are not in Atlanta. If you have Skyped with a family member or have participated in a GoToMeeting at your job, then you know that video-conferencing technology makes it much easier for us to engage with you as if you were actually in our office. In fact, about 30% of our clients live in other parts of the country. They may have started in Atlanta, but their jobs have taken them to other cities.

What happens at the initial consultation?

That first meeting is for both of us to discuss your situation and to see whether we think we are a good fit for one another. We want to make sure that we can help you carry out what you have in mind for your future.

Why do your clients like working with you?

Our Big Perspective — We look at the whole picture for you, from investment strategies to estate and tax planning, taking into consideration your overall financial situation and helping you make well-informed decisions.

Our Independence — We have no obligation to specific products or companies. This independence allows us to seek out best-in-class solutions that suit your situation.

Our Fiduciary Responsibility — We always act in your best interest, and we put your needs first.

Our Customized Three-Dimensional Process — We develop an interactive plan just for you, where you can see the impact that life’s challenges might have on your situation.
